For you, success. For people, it can be luck!

“The hustle reaped him his success
In his happiness of success, he was so indulged
He forgot to focus in his consistency
That is why his success is still assumed as his luck!”

Before burning the ignition to this very ‘contagious’ topic, I would first like to have a word with you all. You all may be at some or other positions right now; student, professor, doctor engineer and so on. You all, and even me had once a dream even now we have, a dream, a goal that resists you from sleep. I request you to utilize this moment in imagining yourself at that pinnacle where success kisses your feet. Feels amazing by just imagining, eh? What, then? Have you planned or even gave a thought after being successful? No? This is the mistake you must always be careful of. But a sigh of relief for you, you are not the only one with this; Purvesh was the one who stood in this category. He was successful, but his success was “converted” into luck by the society.

His muscular body that perfectly took shape was so formed by football, his dedication. He, since his childhood was a big fan of football. Bicycle kick, 360, round the world, rainbow and much more were the tricks he was able to perform so well, the viewer could hardly get their eyes off him. Was it his luck or something else, not known, but something stopped him from achieving that platform, despite of him trying his best.

Lady luck strikes at least once in a lifetime to all and it was such a day for him when he was selected in the national team of football. 1st match, 1st half and he scored 2 goals. The aftermath of the match was a win for the team and he, in his debut match itself was announced as the ‘player of the match’.

Success, what he dreamed of was in his hands. Crowd applauded, celebrations, wishes, fame, money- he achieved all he dreamt of. The time was ticking and his consistency was being tested. He partied much, celebrated to a good extent, spent his green bucks on luxuries and even boozed a lot to celebrate. Time for practice but he was least bothered as he was in a misconception as he thought that he no longer needed practice to be a good player, he was already a pro.

‘Pride had a great fall!’ His performance was a disaster in his consecutive match, and he was booed by the audience. His name and fame was crushed in a day. Worse still, the mouths spoke his first success as his luck and not his hard-work. His crush was strong enough to crush even his over-confidence which made him realize where he took a slip.

Take a look above where I mentioned this topic to be ‘contagious’. Contagious, because we are inspired by many people too easily to be successful, we get n number of books and websites where we are told ways to be successful but hardly any which can tell us how to be consistent after the success. You succeeded? Celebrate, enjoy, and feel happy. But start again. Continue your hustle. Let not your success be converted into your luck.
