Darkness Domination

[Dominate over your darkness by downloading this anecdote:
]

The vision we have in our lives contributes a lot to the quality of it. It is up to you whether you want to wander in the shades of the tunnel or want to approach for the ray outside. It is an undeniable matter of reality that no matter who, everyone has passed through that bitter pit of sadness where one feels no less than being worthless. Believe me or not but one grain of sadness is much enough to grow an entire field of darkness. Crushing that grain in that person and then exhilarating him is not a path of roses, not at all a path of roses!

One such grain was developed by Martin, when he was studying with me at the school of literature. Reiterating his grieves had become a, everyday tale in his running days. Thrown aback in his life, he had lost his wheels to carry on the wagon of his life. I noticed him falling deeper and deeper, mulling over and over on his grief. I always lent him my shoulder to cry on but all he wished was to be left alone; the biggest mistake one does when he/she is in the bad times. I firmed myself and decided to get that grief out of him by hook or by crook.

Hotshot, 6 feet tower fellow, whose muscles spoke it all about his fitness, Martin was my colleague and my partner-in-prime. The brains he developed were smart enough to conquer the failure which he might hardly have tasted. I was always left spellbound and astonished by his wits; salute to such a master who had almost unlocked all his senses!

Flying above the sky at the speed of light but had his toes down touched to the sand. No one was ever taken as a competitor by him. Maybe that was one the features that made him stand apart from others. I have always felt vibes of positivity and goodness from his region around. He had a hunger, a hunger that could not be cooled, a hunger that was increasing day by day, a hunger of learning something newer and newer. Hardly would you have ever seen a guy who is willing to learn every damn possible thing and working hard for that stuff. I have never seen his body still, at one particular place, taking a breath of sigh. The guy was never tired.

His image, so created, no one ever thought that he would interosculate with vulnerability. Just as lady luck strikes at least once in a person’s life, no different than that, so do the events of misfortune. The climax lies in how we welcome them.

Martin was struck too, by misfortune when one day, his assignments were copied by some ‘EVIL’ in class. I can bet that he would have thought of more than 100 ways to murder that more-than-a-devil fellow, it is inevitable after all it was his talent that was to be credited but the reality was quite unlike.

I knew how it feels like to be completely worthless. I went to him, standing besides him quietly; sometimes a person must just be given a helping hand ears to listen rather than a jar of sweet advices! I did the same and he let out all his poison of aggression in front of me, I standing calm and listening to him, the best thing that could be done. He continued for few minutes and halted. The halt was a remark of his weariness from his anger. I calmly told him to sit down and take a deep breath. What I would say and what I was going to make him understand was completely expected by him and he gave me a peaceful smile.

His idea was copied, not his talent. What he lost was a copy; the original still belonged to him. Secondly, mulling over the person who betrayed him would yield nothing but vanity.

We are often mislead in our lives thinking more about others rather than focusing on our own selves. The time spent is gone forever and nothing is going to change it. Think about it over and over again, dig your pit deeper and waste your so precious time OR rather utilize that time in your constructive ideas, constructing a better future by the foundation of the lesson learnt from the past, the choice lies in your hands! The way we see something inculcates the reflection of that thing on ourselves. If we see someone as an enemy everyday, we get nothing but hatred against him and we develop poison in our own selves. But if he is taken as a lesson to learn from, we can improve our selves.

Do not let some one, who did wrong to you, control you. You are the creator of your own destiny, no one else. If someone doesn’t see your worth doesn’t mean you are worthless. It needs the right eyes to differentiate between stones and diamonds. You are what you think you are. Do not let anyone, who did so little for you, mean so much to you. Make yourself so powerful and dignified that they must not deserve even your hatred. Instead of thinking over them and waste our so precious time, why not we develop our selves and make our own selves happy!

It is quite well quoted that
“Let God deal with the people who hate you. Hatred in your heart will consume you too!” have your standard and maintain it, let us not be dragged by ill-moralized people around us.

Don’t even regret over the things you lose. What goes around does come around. You have talent; you have the power, invest in yourself and get drenched in the profit. Investment in you is the best investment. Your talent speaks a lot more than a work copied from your talent. Work can be copied but not talent. Ultimately, the lamp lies in yourself that can help you dominate all the negativities around and inside you!
