Goodness over Heartlessness

What a common thought everyone possesses that the world is just completely mean! I wouldn't be wrong I suppose if I say that if a person is betrayed by a person, he would misunderstand every other person to be a cheat.

You must be thinking that it's true. Jaimin thought the same. The shaved-head guy was a tease trending in the high school. Jokes made up on him had become the word of the mouths.

Brought up in a decent family, he had no such story like financial problem, no parents or any such stuff. He was well in his life, even a student with bright brains but nature always keeps the contrast. He had no hair on his head. And that made him feel inferior to his high school mates.

It took him no longer to convert his heart into a hard stone. He started having ill vibes towards his fellow mates. What he always wished for was harm for the ones who teased him.
He passed his high school with the mentality that every person in the world wants fun, doesn't matter if the person on whom the joke is made feels offended or not. He turned into an introvert, silent being who was once a cheerful soul full of life.

In college, the first year. The stage every fresher feels too unusual ‘cause of the change in life. He talked too less with the people surrounding him. Always remained lonely, one can say so. Why he was doing all this? Just because he was teased in high school. He limited his work just to himself. In other words, he became a kind of selfish. He stopped trusting people and his life went on. No one teased him but no one was his friend too. He almost passed in his academics and was in the last year. No change at all. The same he was as in first year just the difference is he had earned a few friends, even with whom he maintained some distance. His image in college life remained quite negative and was considered to be full of conceit.

He used to think sometimes that his friends made fun of him, guys made joke out of him, then there is no question of being friend with girls. And so he used to stay away from them as much as possible.

The twist of life has its own way of surprising a person. It surprised Jaimin too when one eve, he was sitting in the canteen having tea when his classmate, Hetika approached towards him and sat near him. She always noticed Jaimin and she was quite confident that he suffered from something. Jaimin wished he good evening and was about to leave when Hetika stopped him from leaving. She made herself trustworthy for Jaimin to share his problem with her. She told him that she knew there was something behind such a behavior of Jaimin.

Jaimin's heart melted as if an ice was kept on fire. He had never felt so good that there exist a person, a friend who actually has some feeling of humanity. He remained silent for a few seconds, smiling at her, his eyes full of happiness. He expressed his heart out to her. She understood and assured him that she would the friend he needs. She didn't let him feel the absence of a friend.

Every person in this world has a past. Everyone has some story that has completely changed them into what they are today. People say that they change because they were treated wrong so now they are heartless and selfish. Now suppose, every person in the world starts feeling like this, where will the humanity go? Where will the world stand with people with such feelings of heartlessness?
The world needs peace and love. One has to understand that if there are some people bad, there also exist some good ones out there.

If you think that growing into a selfish, heartless being will make you braver and stronger, you are very wrongly mistaken, my friend. The true courage lies in being what you are even when the world tries to change you. Making yourself a victim of conceit is nothing but being a coward. That means you do not have the courage to hold your goodness anymore.

God has made the world and He can never go with imperfection. He has created everything in balance. If you are a good person, don't stop being good. You are doing it quite good, believe me. Don't change yourself just because of few infiltrates. You never know the ‘surprise of life' may be just on the next turn. Miracles happen every day. Your goodness is always better than the evil.

Don't blame any situation for change in you. You are what you choose to be. If one person did wrong to you, there are 10 others who will do good to you. All you need to have is faith in life, in God. If you feel hurt, use it in good way. Let it make you a stronger and better person. Always keep up the goodness, no matter what. Don't fear the bad ones. It is quite truly said afterall by Gandhiji,
"An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind."

The Interview

This anecdote is not a story, not an article. It is just a thought that needs to be inculcated in every person who goes for interview of a job.
Before I start upon the topic, I just want you to take a piece of pen and paper. Do it. Done? Now, write down all the stuffs you will say about yourself in the interview.

I am sure that many people start by saying their name, their field and much more but when it comes to any quality that makes them stand apart from the crowd, their mouths just get sealed. Why so? Are we facing lack of talents? I don’t think so. What we lack is the power of discovering one’s inner self. We all are stuffed with a brobdingnagian pack of talents. I will just give you a very simple example. Explorers travel round the globe and discover the very intensifying nature of earth, getting familiar with the real beauty while being so simple from the outside. It needs a peep in ourselves to know that we too, like the earth are full of majestic crops of skills and talent. Know yourself.

Coming onto a higher level, people concentrate on getting job for themselves more rather than thinking of their contribution to the job if they are recruited. This is the most common anxiety after every interview hall.
“Will they select me?”
“Will they be impressed by my scores?”
“How much will I get paid?”
My friends, after you get a job, no one is going to ever ask you how much you scored in school and college. All they will ask is what you can do and what you will do for the organization. No company needs a person who just limits his brains to his own earnings and benefits. Moreover, if you just keep it upto your salary, you won’t enjoy the job and the aftermath won’t lead you to promotion. Instead, if you love what you do and serve for the organization, respect from all the colleagues and even the CEO will knock your door.

Moving on the ultimate issue, the depression. No, not actually depression, it’s actually exaggeration. Exaggeration on the denial if not selected. One thing that is out of my sense is why do people mull and contemplate so much over not getting selected in a job. I know it is a serious topic but life doesn't end there. Sandeep Maheshwari has very beautifully said that if you get a job, that’s good. If not, that’s even better. You will get an opportunity to do research on some other company.
True, if you do not get a job, no need to sit with hands on your lap and cry. There are so many ways to earn money. And like I said in my anecdote “The best servant but the worst master”, money is all stored up in your brains. So never ever cry on not getting selected by one or two companies. It is not your loss; it is their loss that they lost a creative mind that would have helped their organization to level up.

An interview is never too complicated as it seems. You just have to keep two things with you: optimism and your originality.

The Best Servant yet the Worst Master

Before you start this story, I want you to imagine that you are on a beach, a cool, windy beach. You are walking along the sea-shore just when you can see something golden thing shining in darkness. You are sure that it is gold, a block of gold. You run and run and run. You are in happiness that you can’t handle when you realize it is actually a block of gold. Come back to reality? Damn! You were enjoying the imagination, weren't you? And I called you back.

Well, what if you meet about a person who might have experienced the same euphoria? Hiren had the experience that you were just imagining of. The only difference is that he experienced that gold disguised in piece of paper which we normally call as money. His short height made him look like a child to the society but only people familiar to him knew that he was rich as hell. Well, his beard made him look a bit matured which suited him because of his clean shaved head.

Most of the rich men have a story that they belonged to a poor family and so did Hiren. But the good thing is that his poverty ignited the zeal in his soul to earn the riches. He was quite successful in his goal. He got married to his college friend, Tanya and had happy family. He used to come up with too expensive gifts for his wife every year. Apple Mac book pro, a limited, red hot Ferrari La Ferrari, shoes from Armani, leather purse of Versace. Damn he is rich, isn’t he?

Seasons kept flowing smoothly and so did the lifestyle of this couple until a twist came. Actually a twist made by very own dear possession of every human, even for Hiren, the money. It was a day when he was looted and all his money was just a thin air when he entered his office. The broken glass pieces scattered on the polished, white, mirrory floor and his wooden desk which was then just a complete mess. He felt a strike of heavy blow on his fate and started cursing it. He had no money in his bank too as he had withdrawn all for a big, new investment which was a big flop. The tragedy hit him so hard that it made his mind blind and he couldn’t see his talent by which he could go for a fresh start-up. But the disaster just snatched away the vision from his mind. It is quite clear by this that what Hiren worked for was just money and not because he loved his work.

Money is not something that defines your richness. People are often mistaken and they run after money blindly which later makes them blind in front of their inner skills and talent. Money is never outside in that world. It is all stored up in your skull. All you need to just do is convert that money from thoughts into paper. It is just that simple. You are never too rich until you have something money can’t buy. Just collaborate with your inner self, listen to what your mind speaks, not what your heart desires. If you want to desire, first you need to be deserved for that. Money is a good thing but it is not everything. It is the best servant a man can have but the worst master if a man gets underneath that.

Focus not on the Hate

That challenging moment
You need to defend
At the top of success
Your haters approach to suppress

They talk behind your back
They belong behind your back
Don’t give them a care
Let it be your dare

So you can rise
That’s the way you dynamize
Be the one who cares the least
That is the moment you tighten your fists

Eyes in front
Be deaf to the grunt
Avoid the distraction
Only then you achieve the satisfaction

If the hate you convey
Gets enormous in your way
The failure it will trace
Slower you, cutting the splendid pace

Be so busy in your work
Leave all the worries at your luck
It’s just yourself you got to deal with
Anger and hatred belong to the filth

Hating someone is the time you waste
Lose temper is the time you waste
Be the contrast, utilize that time
You can reform and do just fine

Be your own dependence
Best is in you, have a glance
Rip off the hate in you
Let zeal occupy that space in you
