What If...?

Amidst the cool sea breeze, sitting below the heavenly lights from shining stars, Ahmed was quiet yet his eyes spoke a lot, no one could ever know. The only company he had with him was he himself.

Going back in time, Ahmed studied in 11th grade in a school. Being bright among his fellow mates, having an eye-catching personality, Ahmed was almost an all-rounder. The only Ahmed did not like about himself was he used to mull over small things. That thing lead him to many advantages but also led to problems in his life as well. Despite of his good gray cells, he was a very humble person and never took anyone as a competitor in his class. Good thing, isn’t it? Well, that was the thing that made him unique.

Appraisals everywhere, Ahmed had in his life that every student wished of.  Every coin has 2 sides and so had Ahmed. Nevertheless he had his skull filled with loads of knowledge; he had a fear of what people would think about him.

He used to attend parties, functions and see people dancing, singing, having fun there. His heart used to freak out for him to dance but he would resist thinking what will others think? What if I end up in making fun of myself? He did not regret it; he didn’t realize that the golden time was slipping away off his hands. He never gathered courage to enjoy at functions.

Years passed by as this continued. He started earning good bucks, got married and lived a happy life.
A day in his life, to his fortune, he met his school friend who had also settle quite in a good way. They went in their flashbacks and remembered the school days. But no sooner did his friend start about the enjoyment, his heart began to hurt.

Few moments spent in nostalgia, they both went to their respective ways. But there was something that was pinching in Ahmed’s heart. What was that?
He ignored it and continued his life. Just a few days had passed when he saw a group of school friends in a restaurant laughing, enjoying and creating memories. A curve of smile came on his face but a pinch in his heart too at the same time, the same pinch that he felt earlier. Ahmed was coming close to what he must have known quite earlier.

He came home, exhausted and exhilarated. Seeing him so, his wife sat near him, and asked if anything was wrong. The paleness on his face, the frustration in his mind, the pain in his eyes, he discussed the “PINCH” with his wife. His wife understood what the problem was. She asked him just one question which he couldn’t answer, yet he got his answer to the question, WHAT WAS THAT PINCH?

He, after dinner, went to the seaside, he kept thinking, “What if I had just danced at the functions and enjoyed? What if I just made myself happy and cheerful? I always thought what others will think and today I am the one regretting, not them. I should have enjoyed, I should have lived that moment.”
He grieved under the blanket of the sky, regret, wanting so badly that the time must reverse but he was helpless. What was gone was gone and never had to come back.

We all have some moments in which we think, “I should have done that.” Do not bring such moments. Instead of saying so, say, “Let us do the stuff and see what happens.” You will enjoy and even if people laugh, think that you did something that brought smile on their face instead of thinking yourself as a fool. They will forget that later but you will remember that thought they laughed, it was so much fun.

The question Ahmed’s wife asked him was, “HOW DO YOU ENJOY LIFE?”
If you are asked the same question, and if your answer is you enjoy by watching T.V., playing PC games, trust me you are not enjoying your life. Make memories, hangout with friends, family. Live, love, enjoy. You may get hurt but the pain is temporary. It doesn’t have the power to ruin your happiness which belongs to you.

Get up, smile. A day without laughter is a day completely wasted. Not even that you do something every day the same and say you are enjoying; don’t live the same day for 75 years and call it a LIFE.
Life is not one big journey but a combination of million small memories and moments and better not to spoil it because of caring about what others think.
So you choose between the two, whether to regret in later years that I shouldn’t have thought of people and have lived my soul out OR to hell with what others think, I am just gonna do what I enjoy?

“Just Do It” is always better than “I Must Have Done It!”

Living Or Just Existing

What will you call happiness, a person alone having 3-course meal in a five star hotel or a group for friends having snacks in a small restaurant? A person travelling alone in his Rolls Royce or a family travelling together in train? There are some things in life beyond money and we need to feel those things.

I used to be a nerd in my college. I always stood 1st in class. I gained respect, knowledge, scholarships and many more things. I started my day with books and slept after seeing the face of my books. My classmates used to tell me to join them for cricket, football but I was busy studying at that time. No activity except study and I was proud of myself. I did not care what others spoke of me, I used to be busy in my own little world.

Today, I am a CEO of a multi-national company. I earn in billions but all left with me is now bucks which I earn and spend. I ask myself,” Have I not a single person with whom I can play with, share my feelings with? ” and I succumb alone in silence. I have no memories to remember, no friend to talk to, just I live with my daily routine, paper works and money.
I look back today, if I gave just 1 hour of my busy life to my classmates, I would have got friends who would have added colours to my dull life.

Studying is important, no doubt but we also need to maintain relation with other people. Memories are worth more than books. Friends teach you how to live life, how to enjoy. If you are still in school/college and are still a stupid nerd with books all the time around, it is still not late yet, have friends, enjoy with them because Few Relations In Earth Never Die.

Living and existing are different things. If you have no enjoyment in your life, damn you just exist and you can call yourself a ‘LOSER’!!! Live your life, enjoy, have fun, scream, shout, smile, laugh because LIFE DOES’NT GIVE YOU A SECOND CHANCE. So just ask yourself: ARE YOU LIVING OR JUST EXISTING?

Only They Are Worshipped

The most common question asked by people to youngsters,” Which degree do you have?” If he has a degree, he is praised. If not, he is not even looked at. Isn’t it right, ha?

Completing his school life and getting admission in a reputed university, Nikunj wanted to gain a degree. Doesn’t matter which but he wanted one. He studied electrical engineering. He faced many ups and downs in his college life. He always thought of the degree he wanted and not the knowledge which is important to achieve a degree.

He almost completed his graduation, scored very good grades and he got the ‘DEGREE’.

The day came of his knowledge test, the interview. He wasn’t asked the theoretical questions which he expected, instead he was asked logical and technical questions in which he had to think of applications of the things he studied. We all know what would have happened next; he was not select and his friend who was just passing in his subject got selected because he knew how apply the knowledge he gained in daily lives.

Here, Nikunj and his friend, both of them had the same degree, so what was it that made both of them different?
We judge people by their degrees. It is completely wrong. Degree doesn’t define one’s intelligence. Bill Gates has no degree, the people who constructed The Great Pyramids had no degree, Dhirubhai Ambani had no degree. This explains quite well that if one doesn’t have a degree, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have knowledge. It is the fault of society that gives importance to degree.
But. But, only they are worshipped who have degree.
Is degree really the most important thing or can a person live an easy life by the knowledge he has without a degree? The question still remains keeping in mind the society…

Is Education a burden?

[You can easily download this by clicking here:

Before I share my thoughts with you, let me first ask all of you, How many of us want to make big and easy money? How many of us want to live an easy life? Undoubtedly, we all want to. But is it only about being successful? No friends. There is something more than success and that is EXCELLENCY. Excellency is the key to everything. But we run after success, don't we?
These days many people, no maximum people complain about education. Education has become a 'BOREDOM' to those people. 90-95% people think that education means only bookish knowledge. Are they right? Is education just a bookish knowledge? Friends, education includes knolewdge of books but also includes extra curricular activities like sports, art,  games etc. Well, the fault is not of the students of the teachers. It is the system that compels us to be BOOKWORMS. We are given more of the bookish knowledge than practical knowledge. Students get tired of reading books, cram the pages and thus could not give in their best in exams.
But we cannot change the system. But what we can change is our way of thinking. 'NOTHING IS INTERESTING IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED' !!! Do what you love and love what you do ! Whatever you do, do it not to just get good grades but do it so that you can develop yourself.
Some of the students over here maybe thinking that I am talking about reading books with interest, am I right? Hehehe(give a small laugh). No dear,  ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY. If you study books and only books, you will get good grades but not good knowledge. Read books, take part in sports, dance, sing, laugh, be happy, enjoy your life. This is education friends, this is education. How to ACTUALLY live your life!
Here we got our answer of the question,'Is education a burden?' No, it is not a burden but the way of seeing education makes it a burden for us. Friends, do what you love, no matter what, but give it your best  shot! Achieve excellency. And if your are excellent in your work, success is not far away.

GO FOR EXCELLENCY FRIENDS, SUCCESS WILL SURELY FOLLOW YOU !!!

P-Interest

[To download this story, click here:

Imagine yourself with nothing to study and all time play, do

your own stuff and enjoy! Fascinating, isn’t it? Now imagine

yourself with lots to study and no time for other work! Can’t

even imagine, right?

Heet, a college student was a die-hard fan of automobiles,

especially cars of Lamborghini. In college that too in 1st year, we

knew about automobiles but hardly. Heet was able to describe

each and every part used in automobiles. But the unfortunate

thing was he lagged behind in other studies.

The question arises how and why he knew so much about

automobiles and then too why he lagged behind?

Personal Interest is a very great and important ingredient in

one’s life. Heet’s personal interest was only in mechanics, not

other subject. He loved what he studied in mechanics. The

knowledge he had was not because of studying piles of books,

it was just a simple interest of his in the subject.

Now think in reality, if we do what we love and love what we

do, success won’t be much far. My friends, knowledge isn’t

about cramming books and gaining knowledge, it is about how

can we use the things we learnt in our practical lives.

Whatever you do, doesn’t matter what it is, make sure you do it

with interest. And if you are not interested in the work, change

it, do the work you are interested and do not ever waste your

precious time in doing what you do not like. 90% of our work is

based on our interest of doing it.

Life doesn’t give you a second chance.

Heet was interested in automobiles and he studied for it

regardless of other subject. The degrees we achieve do not

define us but the talent of us does.

Next time, whatever you do, make sure you are interested. If

you are not interested, you are wasting your time !!!

The Trip

Silence was all that could be heard, a road to his home was all that he could see, Mohit was on a journey back to his home from a trip in which he mustered many experiences. Smile on his face and tears in his eyes, what could be so intense that made his heart cry?
On his way to his trip where he was going to enjoy with his fellow mates, Rihan and Samar, he was going to live the golden days of his life as “THE THREE MUSKETEERS”, as people called them so, were going on a trip to Australia. Very much excited, very much exhilarated, the three decided to meet in Bombay and then they would fly all the way to their destination place together. Who doesn’t like enjoying a holiday trip with the besties of his/her life? I am sure everyone does!
A trip with friends is worth more than a billion bucks and the 2 fellow mates understood that very well. They cherished every moment they all spent together in Australia.
Misfortune strikes every person in life and so did it struck all the three guys when one night, they were on their way to their hotel and heavy storm brewed in the city. No sight of anything, just a black layer in front of their eyes and they decided to hold each other’s hands and walk to a shelter. Mohit’s leg hit and electric pole and the pain hindered him from walking. He compelled Rihan and Samar to leave him there and advised them to find shelter for their own.
Hours spent in the harsh situation and then everything became calm but not the reaction of Rihan and Samar as they found no trace of Mohit but to their astonishment, they could hear him shouting for help. His voice seemed to be coming from a wall as if he was in between the walls. To their surprise, there was no entrance in the wall. Rihan and Samar, both confused decided to break the wall. They did so; they found him in shaggy clothes but the doubt which struck Samar that how he got in was unclear. Mohit was shivering of fear and so Rihan and Samar tried to calm him down.
Completely blanked, all that Mohit could see was the smile on his friends’ face that they found him and he hugged them so tightly. Hug from your loved ones is inexpressible! The heartbeats could be very much felt when we get love from our friends.
They enjoyed their moments but they never knew they were making memories when they were enjoying. Time flies when we are enjoying our lives and it was not more than a month when the guys experienced that. Yes, it was time to say ‘goodbye’ to each other and return to their homes. All the three guys, on their way back, all they could hear was the silence, all they could see the roads to their home, smile on their face but tears in their eyes!

Friends add spice to our lives. Friends are our friends, no matter how strong you may be, I assure you that at some stage of life, everyone needs a friend, no matter how big the person maybe. Cherish your moments with friends, don’t let them away. Relatives, siblings may are important in life but the matter of friends is completely different!

People Of Benefits

[To read this story offline, you can download it by clicking here:

Did you ever come across a situation where you have to go out of your way to help your friend? Yes? Ok, but while helping him, did you think that will he help you when you are really in need? No, right? Because we trust him that surely he will help us. When you were in need, he left all his work that he was doing and help you with the trouble you face. Feels heaven, doesn’t it? That your old friend still remembers you.
A very cordial and extravagant boy, not at all egoistic, Jaivik was popular in school. He had good number of friends and they used to be together all the time. “Bring happiness to others, happiness will itself come to you!” was the mentality of him. The happy-go-lucky fellow was at the rescue the moment anyone needed help. He and his friends gradually came to the end of school life. Results were out, college admissions started and all started going to their respective places.

Jaivik missed his school life and friends like anything. But why should he miss his friends and look back in past? Afterall, they were just friends. To him, they were part of his life and they all were in contact even after school. All were in contact on social networking sites, text, chats and it went on daily.
Assignments, presentations, submissions, tests, internals….. This summarizes one’s college life. All were at their tasks and were sweating blood to make their career bright. Now, externals over, submissions submitted and it’s vacation time!!! All the way to home, fun, no studies, friends, hangouts. Jaivik thought of each and every possible thing he will do in his vacation. Everyone had decided to meet and play any outdoor game.

Jaivik reached home and texted everyone to make some plans. A few said they are going out in wedding, some said their parents won’t allow, some said they are busy in household things while the others just didn’t want their asses out of their home. The plans he had were flushed down the gutter and Jaivik knew that his vacation was going to be much boring.

Vacations over, it was again college time. Those daily routine was back in action and everyone was busy in their activities. Now there was no contact in friends. Jaivik hardly received any messages from his friends, maybe once or at the most twice in 6 months. He felt much bad that his friends didn’t have time for him but he let it go thinking that they may be busy.

Naved, Jaivik’s college friend was little weak in his studies. Jaivik was an intelligent fellow so Naved asked for a favour. The situation was such that even Jaivik had the same exam the next day and needed to study other chapters, not the ones Naved was to be taught but even then Jaivik, due to his friendly behavior helped his friend. The next day, Naved thanked Jaivik very much because due ti him, his exam was fantastic. Naturally, Jaivik felt much happy.
Few months passed by and he had few friends in college and helped everyone whenever needed. Festive season and it was vacation time. Of course Jaivik headed towards his home sweet home. He planned get together with his school friends and just like the last time, all of his friends had got some excuses. He now left expectations from his friends and used to go out alone. He noticed that when his friends said they were busy, they were shown online on internet and were just doing time-pass. This made him lose his temper and called his friends and scolded them. His friends didn’t care and took him for granted. He decided to return to his college.
He felt good returning back to his college and started enjoying. He came upto his friend, Naved and started chatting. Naved did not talk properly and just ignored him. Not once but many time Naved acted in such a way.
Jaivik now was much disgraced and remembered the Golden times when he spent fun time with his friends. He decided to stay alone and not to make any new friend. He soon learnt that people live only for their benefits.
Now, wherever he goes, his company is he himself. He has no friend with whom he can enjoy but atleast no person who can use him.

People today live just for their own benefits. Even if a person is dying, they will watch him die but not help him. Why so? Is helping others a crime? Is staying in touch with people who once helped you an unfair deed? Humanity hardly exists in today’s world. People blame their work for not having time to help, but actually, it is the devil in them whom they are supporting just because they are selfish.  To live in today’s world, you have to be selfish. Be a nice guy, and the world will eat you up.

Unfortunate Promoted

Have you ever loved someone so much you can give an arm for, not the expression, no, literally give an arm for?
You just cherish each and every moment spent with them. You just want time to stop when you are with them.
It was me, my little friend Mark and the silent sea.
I and Mark just made the days alive which spent together. He used to bark at me, chase me, and jump on me. Having a very fit body, hairy and tail perfectly curved; Mark was one of a kind, not having even a single muscle to be of waste!!!

Who doesn’t love adventures? We all do, right? But to me and Mark, adventure was a passion. Desire arises to go for a trek in midnight, we used to gather our stuffs and take-off for the adventure.
I do remember, once on a scooter boat, in a lake, at tremendous, Mark jumped in water and started swimming.
I stopped the scooter boat and I could feel him calling me to join the swim, and would compete me in race. What fun!

He was too lucky for me. I achieved great things in life when he was with me unless an ‘UNFORTUNATE PROMOTION’ led me down.

With great excitement, I informed Mark about my promotion. He also felt so happy, wailing his tail in excitement and running round about himself.
Higher salary, higher post, staff under me, a private cabin! A PERFECT LIFE anyone can dream of!!!

Days went on, I got busy in my work, no, wait, not work, I got busy with my DONKEY-WORK. Yes, not loads but tons of work at my table. I wished ‘time takes some time to rest’, so that I can complete my load in time. Childish thinking, isn’t it?
Paper work, computer work, documents, signs etc. in my office at mess. I often asked to myself, “The salary I am earning, do I have time to spend it? Am I really happy with my promotion?”
But then again continued with my labor work.

I forgot to talk about Mark for a minute, right? That’s the biggest mistake I ever did, I hardly spent time with him after the promotion. But who knows when can success can become a drug, we feel at our best but it can have an ill effect on our own selves.

By the fortune of God, I got holiday for a week and work was also less. But the change in Mark’s behavior was noticeable. I asked him about his grief, but he just took his face off me. But money makes a man blind; I didn’t see his grief and took it lightly.

The next day, I took him to a hill for an adventure. He felt bit encouraged and was happy. Hardly had we reached the summit when I got a call from my boss, ’Hey Mark, we have got an urgent meeting and it’s a deal of good bucks so I expect you to come in an hour.’
I began to rush for that deal, not thinking of Mark. But Mark just barked and barked at me all the way and suddenly jumped on me. ‘What the hell is wrong with you, Mark?’ I shouted at him. His heart fell in grief. He was just walking about and just I saw a rock falling from up of which Mark was unaware. I ran towards him and jumped, stretching out my hand towards Mark and pushed him and the rock fell on me arm. My arm was crushed under the mass and the pain was terrible. But to my astonishment, I couldn’t hear Mark, neither could I see him coz of the rock in front of me. However, I got my arm off the rock and looked around but no sign of Mark was seen. I cried, I shed tears of blood, ‘Mark, come back, I am very sorry. Please Mark, for God’s sake come back, I beg of you’. I cried my heart out, screaming out madly for Mark but couldn’t change the reality of missing him.

With the numbness in my broken arm, with my soul off my body, I walked home. ‘Money made me blind, I didn’t give time to my fellow, I was so dishearten’ I cursed myself. The pain in me, biting me all the time, it was consuming me but I was an impossible task for me to accept the reality.

Money can’t buy you happiness. What is the use of earning money if your closed ones are not happy by you!

And today, again at the same place which we used to spent,

It’s me………………and the silent sea.
